Worship Gatherings

We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30. People were created to worship, so gathering together on Sundays is the center of our life as a community. It reminds us of who we are in Christ and re-centers us in the Story of God in a world of competing stories.

The worship service is best described as new traditional. It’s traditional in that we follow a historic liturgy that includes a formal call to worship, confessing our faith using historic creeds, confession of sin and assurance of pardon, prayers, a sermon, weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper, and a concluding doxology. Our service is new in that it occurs in an architecturally modern sanctuary with a blend of traditional and contemporary hymns and songs. Above all, our worship is characterized by simplicity, dignity, and reverence.

Kids

Childcare is provided for children (newborns through three years old) during the worship service. Teach Me to Worship is offered during the sermon for four and five-year-olds. Nursery and Sunday School classes are offered at 9 am for newborns through fifth grade.

Children’s worship bulletins and additional resources are available in the lobby to help families and their children participate together in the worship service. Please bring your own crayons or pencils.

Parking

ChristChurch is located at the corner of Peachtree Street and 25th Street, where Buckhead meets Midtown. Free parking is available in the church’s surface lot and in the Peachtree 25th deck across 25th Street. MARTA Bus route 110 services the bus stop in front of the church.
