Sunday Morning Worship
We want to be a church which worships together. Since we believe that all of life is worship—wherever we live, work, or play— gathering on Sundays is at the center of our life as a church: it prepares us for the week ahead, reminds us of who we are in Christ, and gives us the opportunity to praise the great God whom we serve.
So, every Sunday we come together in the morning to hear and respond to God’s Word through preaching, prayer, hymns, and the sacraments of baptism and communion.
Style of Sunday Worship
The style of worship varies Sunday to Sunday and even song to song, but one thing is constant: our worship is centered upon God’s Word, the Bible. You’ll notice a blend of contemporary and traditional hymns, all carefully selected to reflect the day’s Scripture passage. And because worship isn’t a spectator sport, we often affirm together what we believe through responsive readings and creeds.
Nursery & preschool are provided for children birth-rising Kindergarten; rising 1st-5th graders will be dismissed from the worship service to their own time of Worship and Wonder for the remainder of the worship service. There are also two cry rooms available for crying or nursing infants.
Of course, children are very welcome to stay with their parents during the entire service. We only ask that, during prayer or a sermon, crying babies be taken out. The sermon is relayed into both cry rooms and the gallery.
Live Spanish translation is available during the 10:30am service. Headsets are available in the gallery.
Sunday Worship and the Arts
Our music and arts ministry contributes in many different ways to our worship. Please see the Music and Arts Ministry page for more information.
