ChristChurch exists to seek the glory of Christ and the good of the city. To fulfill this we are called to care for the powerless and disadvantaged around us.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, and the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James  1:27

Mercy Ministry, which is overseen by the deacons, aims to care for those inside and outside the church. One way we do this is to support many ministries and aid organizations and the work they do in Atlanta and around the world.

Additional Resources

Atlanta is a richly-resourced city. The United Way has published a directory of ministries and organizations that are equipped to provide assistance in finding assistance in food, transitional housing, rent and bill support, health services, transportation, and clothing.
