We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.

Psalm 78:4

ChristChurch values both the children within and outside the church as fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. It is our prayer that the children at ChristChurch, through partnership with their parents, would:

  • know the love that God has for them by providing a safe and loving environment
  • come to saving faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
  • be taught the complete, redemptive storyline of the Bible
  • develop the skill and habit of scripture memorization
  • learn to confidently study and talk about the Bible with others
  • learn to love their neighbor as themselves.

Partnering with Parents:

ChristChurch is excited to partner with parents to raise up the children of the next generation to know and love the Lord as their greatest treasure.  By God’s design, proximity, and opportunity, parents have a unique responsibility to nurture their child’s faith (see Deut. 6:4-7).  As a church, we are committed to equipping parents in their role through monthly parent resource letters, topical parenting seminars and various other opportunities throughout the year.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School is offered during the school year starting at 9 am for children ages 3 through 5th grade with Bible instruction from Great Commission Publications’ “Show Me Jesus” curriculum.  View our monthly newsletter here, which includes information about scripture memory, the hymn of the month, praying for your child and more.  Childcare is provided for children, infants through 2 years old, during Sunday School.

Childcare is provided for children, infants through 3 years old, during the 10:30 am corporate worship service.  Teach Me to Worship is offered during the sermon for children ages 4 years old and Kindergarten.

For health and safety information, see our Children’s Ministry Well Child Policy.

Annual & Ongoing Events

We celebrate the seasons with the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Promotion Sunday, and our Christmas Concert in which the children sing.

There are also many opportunities throughout the year to serve and build relationships at family picnics, game nights, Woodland Art Gallery exhibits, and service days.
