The 1750 Campaign

The foundational verse in Jeremiah 29 that sets the vision of ChristChurch Presbyterian commands us to "seek the welfare of the city" (v. 7). The purchase of 1750 Peachtree directly supports that mission since it will not only provide the parking we need for ministry throughout the week, but will also provide space for future ministry -- in whatever shape and form that might entail. We invite you to join us as we respond to God's provision of this opportunity together in the coming years.

The goal of the campaign is three-fold:

  1. To raise the purchase price of $2.2 million for the land and building next door.
  2. To raise an additional $500,000 to prepare the property for future use.
  3. To raise another $1.3 million beyond that to substantially pay down the variable loan on 1740, freeing up funds from debt service for ministry use.

Altogether, we are trusting God to raise $4 million over the course of the next three years.

This is an incredible providence that the Lord has placed before us as a congregation, requring faith and courage to move forward as He leads. May the Lord bless you as we seek to be obedient to our calling "to gather and grow a community of disciples for the glory of Christ and the good of the city" in the days ahead.
